A week ago e.l.f. Cosmetics revealed that they would be adding three new brushes to their studio line.   These brushes are very popular due to their quality, performance and low price point. I have a few that are in constant rotation and these look like must haves. This year has been all about contouring so it's perfect that they've finally added a contour brush. That blending brush looks full and fluffy. I'm sure I have a similar one from BH Cosmetics but of course I will probably be getting this one too. And of course everyone wants their brows on fleek (I hate that "word" btw) so this new eyebrow duo brush is very necessary.

The e.l.f. Skincare line is now available for purchase. During the preorders e.l.f. did say that not all products would be available at the initial launch. They allowed their customers to vote on the products they were most interested in seeing become a part of the line. This was a very smart tactic in order to gauge the interest in their new venture into the skincare industry. Now as a result, the launch only includes four products all formulated to help you "hydrate and nourish for glowing skin":

• Smoothing Serum ($12)
• Daily Hydration Moisturizer ($8)
• Nourishing Night Cream ($12)

e.l.f. has always been ahead of the game when it came to budget beauty with it's countless selections and array of colors. Now they are venturing into new horizons by introducing an affordable skin care line. Prices range from $4-12 and it's currently available for pre-orders that are expected to ship this month. Only four items will be initially released for early launch with the rest of the lineup expected later this year. Those four early releases will be determined by the number of pre-orders each product gets.

So in case you've been going crazy and still haven't found any of the items from the Walgreens exclusive Disney Ariel Cosmetic Collection then put your mind at ease as the collection has been restocked on the Walgreens website and on Drugstore.com (as they are owned by Walgreens). So if you are tired of running around town and calling all your local stores then head over to their website and order the items you've been lusting over. As for the hair accessories or the makeup bags, they are currently out of stock for shipping and haven't been added to drugstore.com yet. However, this does mean you are now able to search to see what stores have it in your area and see if it's eligible for in-store pickup. Walgreens also added all 3 of the different Ardell eyelashes sets as well. And if you have a ShopRunner account be sure to log in as you are eligible for free 2-day shipping on Drugstore.com. And of course don't forget to sign in to your Ebates account so that you can get cash back for your purchase. 

So the Walgreen's Collection of Disney's Ariel just keeps on expanding. I didn't mention it before but there was a set of eyelashes by Ardell that was the first item released. I was also able to snag that too on my recent trek to Walgreens. Now I find out they have added a makeup bag and hair accessories to the list. What is an Ariel fanatic to do?!  Well, of course now I have to call again to see if I can get lucky twice with the same store. I found out it is actually NYC's flagship Walgreens store so they will always get the limited edition collections or any collection for that matter. So they will now be my first place I call. Hopefully I can get in good with a few associates lol. But I am totally serious! Any little help I can get is a plus is my book. So here's a first look at the items I purchased:

So if you heard about this limited edition collection and you're a fan of Ariel like me then you've been desperately calling all the Walgreens in your area trying to see if they have it. Yet everyone either doesn't know what you're talking about or they tell you they only get e.l.f. items during the holidays. It was recently made available online but just as quickly as it arrived it was gone. But now it allows you to check to see if stores in your area have the item. I've been frustrated as I have found one store in my area that has it in stock and has in store pickup, which is unavailable for this product. Yet when I call associates tell me it has not arrived yet and may come sometime this week.

So I went back to the site and entered a different zip code for stores a little further out and found 2 more stores that said the item was in stock.
I called the first one and a very helpful associate told me that they did get the items in but they didn't have the space to put it on the floor yet. But she actually went to the store's stockroom and checked to make sure they did have the items I wanted in stock. She even said she would put it aside for me with my name. Her name is Nicola and this Walgreen's is located at 33rd street and 5th ave in NYC. I will make sure to give her my personal thanks as she was a little out of breath when she came back to the phone since she had to run a floor up to check. I am very grateful! So be sure to call ahead before running to your local Walgreen's as the information provided online may not be accurate. I am on my way out to get it now. So excited! I will be sure to post my swatches and opinion of the products.
