Hot off the heels of their Stunna Lip Paint release, Fenty Beauty is coming for our coins with more lipsticks. Surprisingly, it’s not more shades of the Stunna Lip Paints either. When I first saw the teaser image she dropped on Instagram I was hoping it was. Periwinkle is a shade I’ve been looking to add to my collection for awhile and I wasn’t quite sure about the ones I came across because I wanted it to look Periwinkle on my skin tone as well. I’m certain this shade will.

If you thought Riri wasn’t working on something else for 2017 then your wallet is sorely mistaken. I saw a sneak peek almost two months ago of a liquid lipstick Fenty Beauty was releasing but there was just the picture and no other info. I like to be sure before putting the wrong information out there so I waited for news from a credible source. Well, no need to wait anymore because the brand and Rihanna herself dropped the bomb today. Stunna Lip Paint will be launching later this month (yes, THIS MONTH) on Nov. 23rd. It’s unclear if there will be more shades or not since they posted it with the hashtag “#ONEREDFORALL”. But clearly they wanted you to know it’s the red to end all reds. Rihanna slays in red of course and from the picture it looks matte but that’s unconfirmed. I will definitely update you when I know more.
Out of this world? Yes, I went there. But when you see the pictures of this 13-piece collection I think you'll agree. Fenty Beauty joins the ranks of the early October holiday releases and I ain’t mad at all. Dropping her collections on a Friday at 3am EST, however, does annoy me a little but what’s a makeup junkie to do? Riri heard our cries and made this release at a decent time. So now I don't have to stay up late. I just have to duck into a bathroom at work to place my order real quick or strategically plan my lunch break around it. I'll probably go with the latter just to sure I have enough time. Now that that's settled, let's take a look at these other worldly creations Rihanna has blessed us with:
It’s safe to say that the launch of Fenty Beauty last month was filled with much excitement. Not only because it was a beauty line started by Rihanna but because of the products themselves. Of these the most sought after is the Pro Filt'r Foundation. Why? Well because she launched 40 shades with an inclusive range for all skin tones. The main draw was that for those with darker skin tones there was finally a brand that catered to us. A brand that didn’t think of adding darker shades as an after thought but one that included it from the start and not only that but the shades actually matched.
