NEW Jordana Halloween Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lipsticks + Swatches

by - September 12, 2016

Fall is approaching fast upon us and what that means is Halloween almost here! (I love Halloween.) A few companies release Halloween themed collections and this year Jordana is throwing their hat in the ring. They've expanded their Sweet Cream Matte liquid lip color line with 8 new shades. Unfortunately these shade are limited edition so if you want these than you'll have to act quickly as even the permanent collection is always pretty much sold out when I find it. These are a great way to try bold shades without breaking the bank in case you decide you don't like it or won't wear it as often.

Jordana's liquid lipsticks dry completely matte. I have tried a couple from their permanent line. I found them to be a great budget friendly option for those wanting to try liquid lipsticks without breaking the bank. However, some apply streaky and that is also the case with these. Daisy said that the white and orange shades were the most streaky. So I'd suggest lining your lips fully when wearing these. As for the white shade, I doubt many of you would wear this shade alone. But it's a great option to use to lighten shades and create ombre lip looks. Same goes for the black shade, which can be used to darken shades and create ombres as well.

If you own the permanent shades you may have noticed some shades look familiar and you're right. Two of these limited edition shades are exactly the same as two in the permanent collection. So no need to get those if you own the others.

So are you picking anything up from this new collection? I've got my eye on the 3 darker shades (Vampy Vixen, Enchanted Goddess & Fantasy Fairy) and the grey (Zombie Queen) as well. You can find these at Walgreens at $4.99 each but they are usually at Kmart as well for less at only $2.99 each. Jordana has a website and these will probably be available for purchase soon. So keep an eye out if you want these and can't find them in your area.

Happy hunting!
